Handcrafted in our Detroit studio, these Reclaimed Wood blocks are the perfect holder for tall taper candles. They look great in a pair, on their own, or as a multicolor grouping. 

Each candle holder is made by hand using off-cuts of reclaimed hardwoods. The shapes, sizes, and colors vary. See photos as examples but know that your order will contain a wholly unique one-of-a-kind piece.

Mutual Adoration frames and housewares are handcrafted in a women-run wood shop in Detroit. We use locally-sourced reclaimed wood, environmentally responsible paints and wood stains, and American-made hardware. Each frame is noted with the wood type and origin. This gorgeous lighter case pendant by Therese Kuempel is a beautiful and functional statement necklace. Use to light candles, incense, sage, and more. The metalsmithed design was meticulously sculpted and carved in wax and then cast in brass. After the onyx was set, the case was enamel finished. Hangs from a 32" Gold-Plated chain.

Therese Kuempel is a metalsmith and sculptor based in Chicago. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied sculpture, metalsmithing, and both large and small scale metal casting. Her jewelry is hand-made in her Chicago studio/home where she aims to create well-crafted designs that are both unique and empowering to the wearer. Designed with strong, clean lines, her jewelry is inspired by a juxtaposition of organic formations and geometric shapes. She aims suspend the wearer in an ethereal place: a place between the impermanent, delicate organic and the impenetrable, industrial qualities of metal.
