The felted wool flower ball bouquets in gorgeous colors make for lovely tabletop decor. Fill a vase or a selection of tiny vases or add to an existing centerpiece. The perfect forever flowers that will last season after season. Each felt ball measures 2-3cm in size. The stems are made from green cloth covered floral wire and measure 16" in height. The floral wire can easily be cut with wire cutters to arrange the felt balls at varying heights.

The creation of forms using hand building techniques, with minimal use of tools, ables Kelly to further the idea of clay as a natural material. Concrete is always considered as a cold pale construction material. But Uno Atelier aims to change that understanding by transforming that cold material into colorful, warm decorative objects. The company was founded by a industrial designer who has also experience in graphic design.  Her hobby turned into her passion by taking time away from screens and creating during her daily life. Our founder combines her background in industrial design with her passion of creating decorative objects out of concrete.
Every object made in Uno atelier is created locally in Los Angeles with design in mind.

I started up my brand after seeing a pair of shoes hanging from a power line. I liked how they looked dangling and twirling with the wind. I had just learned ceramic mold making and sought to recreate this scene using a more permanent material. While making the ceramic shoes, It occurred to me that they could be great planters. After a couple of iterations, Shoe Pots ended up being one of my most successful products. For every product I make, I try to have this same approach. I look for the beauty in everyday things and reinterpret them by altering form, material and context.

Pretti.Cool concrete work is all individually hand cast from custom made rubber molds. Colors are integrally mixed into the concrete and results in each piece being unique. We use recycled materials and are able to create a finished product 30% lighter than traditional concrete (in our non-terrazzo pieces). Although the sealer is food grade and safe we don't recommend using these for direct food contact. Natural voids occur during casting and some pieces will have very small pin holes. Do not submerge in water. Wipe clean with mild soap and water.

Emily has been working with clay for more than half her life, her current work is functional slip cast ceramic objects for every day use. With an emphasis on the process of mold making the work starts as lines and shapes in 3D modeling software. Emily uses modern technology as an aid in creating prototypes that are used to make plaster molds. Using colored porcelain each piece is cast in a mold and finished by hand. The functionally of the work is what drives the design and the idea of use is what drives the maker.

Emily uses modern technology as an aid in creating prototypes that are used to make plaster molds. Using colored porcelain each piece is cast in a mold and finished by hand. The functionally of the work is what drives the design and the idea of use is what drives the maker.

A native of New Jersey. Altarik, an industry innovator - leads the charge as design principal of Homa Studios. His path to designing is untraditional, graduating university with a psychology degree and only taking an art class in middle school. So much of what he knows today is through learning by doing. He doesn’t know how to use a traditional ceramic wheel, but yet he craft his ceramics utilizing digital design, 3D printing, and mold making techniques. Collaboration is at the heart of Altarik’s design process. He takes pride in working with young newly emerging talent (pretty much all his friends) to bring out the best in each other.

Ideal vase for decoration and designed for dry flowers. It has a white color with a rough texture. It is made with open pore, so we do not recommend using it with water, as it can ooze liquid over the hours. Each piece is handmade and unique, so you'll find imperfections and marks on them. The traces of craftsmanship are noticeable on each piece.

Our concrete work is all individually hand cast from custom made rubber molds. Colors are integrally mixed into the concrete and results in each piece being unique. We use recycled materials and are able to create a finished product 30% lighter than traditional concrete. Although the sealer is food grade and safe we don't recommend using these for direct food contact. Natural voids occur during casting and some pieces will have very small pin holes. Do not submerge in water. Wipe clean with mild soap and water.

Cheryl M. English, a long-time resident of the metropolitan Detroit area, has traveled as far as Singapore and Turkey, only to return to her childhood dancing grounds. Having earned a BA in Art History from Michigan State University and an MA in Art History and Archaeology from Cornell University, she realized she much preferred making art to dissecting it. Cheryl’s work is a reflection of her “other” passion: gardening. As a certified Advanced Master Gardener, her abiding interest in things natural – and indigenous – is evident in her whimsical creations.
