We're a small company from the midwest making high quality puzzles with independent artists and printmakers. We love the weird, offbeat and colorful. Founded by two best friends in 2021 that grew tired of endless doom scrolling and craved something we could do while listening to records. We put our experiences traveling and skateboarding to work to create the puzzles that we wanted to see in the world. The creation of Marvling Bros is a story that began in 2010 with two mums at the school gates of a sleepy surburban primary school in Essex… In 2010 the head mistress of the school held a competition for the pupils. The task seemed straightforward and simple enough: How much can you fit in a matchbox? Hayley’s seven-year-old son was not enthused by idea, but Hayley entered for him and came up with all sorts of objects that not only fitted in the matchbox but fulfilled a concept too. For example, a grain of rice and a coriander seed which she labelled ‘curry takeaway’, and a picture of the Mona Lisa and Van Gogh’s Sunflowers became a miniature art gallery. She did not win the competition, and most people thought it was mad, but one other person at the school totally got it - Emma. Two years later, Emma, inspired by the matchboxes, (and having just offloaded her youngest child at school) thought the concept could be the basis for a business and for nine months she and Hayley beavered away researching products, developing ideas and learning how to run an e-commerce company. They launched in July 2013 with a website and 12 different product designs. In the first week they sold exactly ten matchboxes, half of those to people they knew. Not the big hit they were hoping for. However, by their first Christmas, they were flying out of the door. In the last eight years the business has gone from strength to strength, while keeping the company ethos - to provide inspiration!

How To Care For Your Alpaca:

Giving proper care to your alpaca means getting to enjoy their luxurious softness and warmth for decades. 

• Alpaca isn’t a high maintenance fiber. It does not pill and is water-resistant. More importantly, it has the ability to self-clean naturally. Its hollow fibers resist the absorption of dirt or odors. This means they do not need to be washed often! Simply air them outdoors after use. 
• It is better to hand wash alpaca to help preserve their shape and construction. Always use a gentle, non-abrasive soap such as mild detergent or baby shampoo. 
• Do not use hot water or even varying degrees of water temperature since this will shock the fibers, causing them to mat together or weaken. No need for fabric softeners as well.
• After washing, place the item on a flat surface or on a dry towel (to help absorb extra moisture). Do not hang to dry, and let it air dry away from sunlight or other heat sources like radiators. Do not use dryers which can cause the throw to shrink

You may use a washing machine, but it is recommended to only use those with adjustable settings. The setting you need is one that is designed for washing delicate wool items. This type of washing actually mimics gentle hand washing.  Use these tips when using this setting:

• Select cold temperature
• Only use a spin speed that is low or slow (alpaca can’t be spun, wrung, or heated)
• Use a mild soap to help preserve the fiber’s color, texture, and durability.
• Do not use the dryer. Simply lay it flat to dry.
• To store your alpaca, keep in cool and dry places away from damp conditions. You may seal them in breathable pillowcases, paper bags, or shirt boxes. This will allow air to keep circulating through the items while keeping them away from insects and moisture. 

Earthy but not without an appreciation for hedonistic pleasure, this is a mini puzzle devoted to me time, creativity, and calm. With satin sheets to die for and at only 70 pieces, it’s the ideal dose of self indulgence.

The alpacas are sheared once a year in spring and the fiber is spun into yarn. Superior to wool, alpaca fiber is extremely soft, light-weight, and amazingly warm with its' naturally insulating core. It does not contain lanolin, making it hypoallergenic- the perfect combination for cold weather accessories!

How To Care For Your Alpaca:

Giving proper care to your alpaca means getting to enjoy their luxurious softness and warmth for decades. 

• Alpaca isn’t a high maintenance fiber. It does not pill and is water-resistant. More importantly, it has the ability to self-clean naturally. Its hollow fibers resist the absorption of dirt or odors. This means they do not need to be washed often! Simply air them outdoors after use. 
• It is better to hand wash alpaca to help preserve their shape and construction. Always use a gentle, non-abrasive soap such as mild detergent or baby shampoo. 
• Do not use hot water or even varying degrees of water temperature since this will shock the fibers, causing them to mat together or weaken. No need for fabric softeners as well.
• After washing, place the item on a flat surface or on a dry towel (to help absorb extra moisture). Do not hang to dry, and let it air dry away from sunlight or other heat sources like radiators. Do not use dryers which can cause the throw to shrink

You may use a washing machine, but it is recommended to only use those with adjustable settings. The setting you need is one that is designed for washing delicate wool items. This type of washing actually mimics gentle hand washing.  Use these tips when using this setting:

• Select cold temperature
• Only use a spin speed that is low or slow (alpaca can’t be spun, wrung, or heated)
• Use a mild soap to help preserve the fiber’s color, texture, and durability.
• Do not use the dryer. Simply lay it flat to dry.
• To store your alpaca, keep in cool and dry places away from damp conditions. You may seal them in breathable pillowcases, paper bags, or shirt boxes. This will allow air to keep circulating through the items while keeping them away from insects and moisture.
