Easy-to-Make Pickle Kit for creating your own pickles at home!

For the heat lover! As the name implies, this one is hot and spicy.
This is a very spicy mix! If you like jalapeno, habanero and red pepper flake then this is the pickling pouch for you! It has a lot of kick. You can also use this as a marinade for fish, chicken, pork or beef! Works great when mixed with your favorite BBQ sauce to spread on your ribs or chicken. Like all of our pouches, when used as directed this product is very low in sodium.

Just add vinegar, water and your veggies. Three days later you have a healthy snacking alternative.

Once you have used the pouch up to two times you can use the brine as a marinade for chicken, fish, beef or pork. You can also strain the brine and use the leftover spices to mix with sour cream or ranch dressing for a unique veggie or chip dip!

Beverly Patterson started making pickles for her husband several years ago. Lou, (her husband), was given a low-sodium diet by his doctor. Well, Lou loved his pickles and Beverly couldn't see him suffer without the one thing he enjoyed the most; pickles. After several years of making pickles and giving them to friends and family everyone encouraged Beverly to share her passion with the rest of the world. Great Lakes Pickling Company was born from this passion. As Beverly and Lou were heading down the pickle aisle of their local grocery store Lou stopped at the very long display of pickles. When Beverly asked why, Lou replied, "You have to look here and see what is missing and make that." With those words, Beverly has let her imagination run wild, giving us the several unique varieties that we offer.

The bar starts with creamy peanut butter, a bit of milk chocolate, and crisped rice. The “secret” star is our super flavorful peanut brittle bits! Their crispy-crunchy-crumbly texture and deep peanut and caramel flavor are the backbone of the bar, and where we get the “Crush” part of “Peanut Butter Crush.” Just the right touch of sea salt and a bath in fantastic dark chocolate round off the flavors! The Crush is an example of what Charlie is so good at—taking classic flavors and updating them into a less sweet, more complex and flavorful candy-eating experience.

We roast cashews and grind our own cashew butter so it’s as fresh as can be! Next more freshly roasted cashews, our own hand pulled cashew brittle (yes pulled, to get the perfect crunch when you bite it), a bit of puffed rice, and milk chocolate cashew gianduja are mixed to make a rich-yet-crispy-and-light candy interior. We cut this nutty, crispy gianduja into bars and dip it in our custom blended dark chocolate. Cha-ching! This is a bar for those who love texture (and cashews)!

Although some may use this on their toast in the morning, most prefer it as an appetizer spread. Spread this over a block of cream cheese and serve with crackers as an easy appetizer or snack. This drinking chocolate has a hint of spice behind its complex tropical flavor profile. The cacao from the Anamalai Estate is intercropped with coconut palms and nutmeg trees in the foothills of India's Western Ghats. Organically grown by producers Harish Manoj and Karthi Palaniswamy where desi cows meander and elephants enjoy the coconuts by night.
