Serrano Hot Pepper Garden Seeds

Serrano chiles are about twice as hot as Jalapeños, but unlike many other chiles, the flavor is best when they are still green. For a lighter flavor, remove the seeds and pith from the inside. This will decrease the heat by amount half.

• Germination can be long with these peppers, so be sure to be patient and attentive.
  
• Start indoors 8 weeks before last frost.  
  
• Keep soil as warm as possible. Seedling heating mats speed germination.
  
• Gradually move outside so prevent shock.  
  
• Day to maturity: 70-80
