Celebrate the holidays while adding a colorful chandelier of paper flowers, string, and other ephemera  to your home by making a traditional Polish Pajaki!

Pronounced Pah-yonk-ee, this traditional craft is created by the women of Poland at times of celebration - weddings, holidays, christenings, or springtime.

We’ll work with metal hoops, paper straws, twine, paper flowers, pom poms, hand marbled wooden beads, and much more to create a one-of-a-kind decorative ‘chandelier’ that roughly measures 12” round x 24” long. These are traditionally hung around holidays as a decoration for the home, but can also just be hung from the ceiling year around.

About the Instructor:

Julie Broekman (formerly Rudziensky) was born and raised in Michigan. She is an automotive color and material designer by day and a jewelry designer/maker by night. Her jewelry line, Fate & Coincidence, is a mix of boho-modern style that is sold in over 50 stores around the country. She is a lover of wildlife, nature, and color.
